A Day Off?

I never really know my schedule around here, so I was surprised and pleased when my boss asked me if I wanted to go to the beach - of course. I am trying VERY hard to remember names around here, but boy, oh boy is it hard. I don't understand..throw Russian, Malay, French V honors at me and I'm fine, but picking up the lingo here is beyond me. I've concluded 15 letters for an alphabet is too little (sorry for those of you this may offend). Anyway, the beach I went to on my day off was the same beach as the first day and it is part of or is the entirety of Kekaha Kai State Park. It's pretty crazy to walk onto a beach in Hawaii alone after being here for a week and knowing someone - one of the crew members from the boat the other night.

The beach was beautiful, of course. Didn't take as many pictures as last time, but here a few. Still can't get over the terrain/weather here. Volcanoes really do some strange things...

My day off brought me luck because I did not have an ant in my coffee that morning or this morning, unless of course I just started drinking them, which I really hope is not the case. I like being a vegetarian.

I FINALLy remembered the name of the flower my lei was made of and most are made out of here. There are called plumerias and one should really create a scratch and sniff sticker of the scent because it's that damn good. My lei is dead now, but the trees grow all of the island with the flowers (typically the flower girls will put in their hair to look all islandy).

Hmm..can't remember much else from yesterday. Perhaps that is all.
